First, keep things simple. If your pants are part of a flashy ensemble, you'll look gaudy. White draws the eye because it reflects more light than any other color, so you'll already catch a lot of attention passively without accessorization.
Color is your next consideration. Black goes with white perfectly and reliably. The contrast of the two is striking without being, as the previous tip warned, needlessly gaudy. Black is a safe bet for most wardrobes anyway, but this holds truer with white.
Behind black is lighter shades of grey. While white pants reflect a lot of light and thus catch the eye, grey does not. However, the contrast between white and grey is small, so it isn't going to be as striking as juxtaposing black and white. This allows you to draw out some contrast while still maintaining a sedate outfit, which can make for a very mature look.
White pants aren't a fashion error if you know how to wear them. Mind your colors and your outfits as a whole, and white jeans can be a great addition to your wardrobe that will leave others wondering how you do it.

I don't have a white jeans kasi I find it hard to match and it's not practical for me who's working inside a plant. But your tips are helpful. Maybe I will try to buy one and wear it outside work.
