The brand started out with only 10 shoe styles back in 2005, and was doing business from their home. Now on its 7th year, Sapato Manila has over 20 styles in stores. Their shoe designs are in flats, sandals, wedges, and heels. Since they started, they would add five new styles to keep up with the ever-changing demands of the market. You know how women are with shoes. Good thing they have built a strong relationship with brands like Frank and Sign, Vida and Via Torino, and Coco and Tres, the latest is owned by Sapato Manila owners: Jen Calma-Sarmiento, Tess Santos, Nikki Yuson-de Guzman, and Joyce Crisologo-Mendoza.
This year, on their 7th, the brand will be celebrating in two ways: by featuring women's creativity and by supporting Museo Pambata's Mobile Library.
Recently, Sapato Manila, has launched two new collections The T'nalak Collection and The Sapato Manila Women Collection.
With the Women's Collection, the owners picked five loyal customers and were given freedom to design their shoes and express their style.

For every pair sold from the Sapato Manila Women Collection, a portion of the profit will be donated to the Museo Pambata's Mobile Library. The money will support the project and provide children around the Philippines the opportunity to read.
Museo Pambata's Mobile Library has been going on for 17 years. The mobile library is a six-wheeler van that is transformed into a colorful haven of children's books. It goes around Metro Manila to visit communities, parks, schools, and welfare centers. Former Museo Pambata Vice President Atty. Gizela Gonzalez-Montinola gave full support to the project, thus the success of the project this far.
Grab your pair of the Sapato Manila Women Collection now and help children get access to books.
