Over lunch yesterday, my officemates and I got to talking about relationships, and how to cope with lover's quarrels or even breakups.
I shared that when I was single, I would go to the hair salon to get my hair done or ask the salon personnel to do something with my hair---either cut it short, pamper it, curl it, straighten it, or what have you. Then I had to rely on the magazines in the salon on what to do with my hair.
Today, I can already check out some websites on hairstyles, and do some hair styling myself. DIY (do-it-yourself) is so common these days, too. The sites provide a hair style filter, where I can tick the description of my hair and voila! I have the perfect look of my choice.
I so love this look!
Short hair, on the other hand, need not be limp and boring. Again with a hair styler, you can glide down the length of your hair to its tips and flicky away from the head to achieve everyday wear flicks.
Easy does it.
In the last five years or so the popular trend for hairstyle is the straight hair. People would just curl it or have it permed for special occasions like parties. If you're into DIY, you can check out the ghd straighteners and achieve a salon result. With the ghd gold classic styler, you can go 50s glamor or 70s hip.
It's true that our hair is our crowning glory. So we better take care of our hair.
