10 New Mascaras to Get Those Doll-Like Lashes

If you were to ask me my make-up fetish, I would say, it's mascara. I have thick eyelashes but they needed a little curling and defining. So, I turn to mascara to do it.

I have been alternating with brands Lancome, CoverGirl, Maybelline, Revlon, and Avon. I recently got a Maybelline mascara, but that is another story.

For now, let me share with you TotalBeauty's list of 10 new mascara brands that will help you achieve those doll-like lashes:

Good things come to those who wait -- even if it's for seven long years, which is how long it took to perfect this mascara. The cone-shaped I-Conic brush alone has three patents that claim to push lashes up, defying the laws of gravity. The smooth formula claims to give a "false doll-lash effect" and wearers report a 35 percent increase in the color, curvature, density, thickness, and length of their lashes. Wear it on both top and lower lashes for the full wide-eyed effect.

This new mascara features a thin, hourglass brush that does wonders to lift and lengthen stubborn lashes. Plus, it's enhanced with panthenol, vitamin E, and wheat proteins, so it conditions while strengthening lashes.

Is bigger better? Well, MAC seems to think so. Their new Opulash mascara boasts a gigantic brush that claims to deliver more dramatic volume and color than ever before. The formula is a blend of silica plates of mica and natural kaolin, which help to thicken and grab each lash. And possibly the most impressive feat: The mascara claims to last 15 hours without flaking or smudging. We recommend putting it to the test.
